Turin, 29 Mar. (LaPresse) – A double victory for Mauro Schmid on the roads of the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali. The Swiss rider from Jayco AlUla won the final stage, crossing the finish line in Gemona ahead of France’s Axel Laurance (Ineos Grenadiers) and his team-mate Alan Hatherly. Fourth place went to Giovanni Aleotti (Red Bull Bora hansgrohe), the best of the Italians, 22 seconds behind the winner. Thanks to this victory, Schmid also claimed the overall classification, finishing two seconds ahead of Laurance.
