Marrakech (Morocco), Apr. 4 (LaPresse) – Marco Trungelliti keeps going. In the semifinal of the Grand Prix Hassan II, the ATP 250 tournament concluding tomorrow on the clay courts of Marrakech, Morocco, he defeated defending champion Luciano Darderi 6-4, 7-6(2) and at 36 years old became the oldest player to reach his first ATP final in his career. Since 1968, no one has played their first final on the main tour after turning 35. Only two players have done it over 34: Victor Estrella Burgos, at 34 years and 190 days, in Quito in 2015; and Malek Jaziri, at 34 years and 106 days, in Istanbul in 2018.
