Milan, 5 Apr. (LaPresse) – The Denver Nuggets beat the San Antonio Spurs 136-134 in the night’s big NBA clash. Nikola Jokic won the head-to-head battle with Victor Wembanyama, scoring 40 points, 13 assists and 8 rebounds, but the French star of the Texan side also put in an excellent performance, recording 34 points and 18 rebounds. In the other games played overnight, the Detroit Pistons won 116-93 in Philadelphia and mathematically secured top spot in the Eastern Conference, thanks in part to Tobias Harris’s 19 points. Finally, the Miami Heat beat the Washington Wizards 152-136, with Simone Fontecchio scoring 8 points.
