Serie A: Milan's collapse – Udinese win 3–0 at San Siro

Naples, 11 April (LaPresse) – Milan suffer a heavy home defeat against Udinese, with the Friulians winning 3-0 at San Siro. This is Massimiliano Allegri’s side’s second consecutive defeat, following their loss on Easter Monday in Naples, which cost the Rossoneri second place. Udinese’s first goal came in the 27th minute, with Bartesaghi unlucky to deflect a low cross from Atta into the net. In the 37th minute, Ekkelenkamp doubled the lead with a header from Zaniolo’s assist. The third goal came in the second half, in the 71st minute, with Atta’s low shot deceiving Maignan at the near post. Leao was booed by the Meazza crowd after being substituted in the 77th minute for Loftus-Cheek. In the table, Milan remain in third place with 63 points, but must now watch their backs for a Champions League spot, with Como and Juventus potentially closing the gap to -2 and -3 respectively. Udinese reach 43 points and temporarily leapfrog Sassuolo into tenth place.
