Rome, 28 April (LaPresse) – Led by the usual, unstoppable Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City also beat Phoenix in Game 4 and, for the third consecutive year, wrapped up their first-round series with a clean sweep of their opponents. Without the injured Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo, Minnesota succumbed to Nikola Jokic’s triple-double, which saved Denver from elimination and extended the series to at least Game 6. As in the previous three games of the series, defence dominated Game 4 between Orlando and Detroit, with the Magic snatching a 3-1 lead in the closing stages thanks to a decisive Desmond Bane, but risking the loss of Franz Wagner to injury. Below are the results of the NBA playoff games: Orlando Magic-Detroit Pistons Game 4 94-89 (Series 3-1); Phoenix Suns v Oklahoma City Thunder Game 4 122-131 (Series 0-4); Denver Nuggets v Minnesota Timberwolves Game 5 125-113 (Series 2-3).
