Turin, 19 May (LaPresse) – Luciano Darderi, world No. 16, won in straight sets on his opening day at the ‘Bitpanda Hamburg Open’, an ATP 500 tournament being played on the clay courts of Hamburg, defeating Argentina’s Roman Andres Burruchaga, ranked No. 66, with a score of 6-4, 7-6 (4) in one hour and 51 minutes of play. In the round of 16, the No. 7 seed will face Germany’s Yannick Hanfmann.
