Germany: Man Attacks and Injures Passersby with Knife in Berlin, Arrested

Berlin (Germany), Dec. 31 (LaPresse/AP) – Berlin police reported that a man was arrested after attacking and injuring several people in the Charlottenburg district. Two individuals were hospitalized for treatment.

"Shortly before 12:00 PM, emergency services were called to Charlottenburg because a man allegedly injured several people, presumably with a knife," police wrote on X. Authorities stated that they are questioning witnesses.

No further details have been provided.

Germany is still reeling from the deadly attack at the Christmas market in Magdeburg, where five people were killed and more than 200 injured.
