Rome, Jan. 3 (LaPresse) – Investigators executing an arrest warrant for South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol were blocked by a military unit inside the presidential residence complex in Seoul. This is reported by the Yonhap news agency on its website, which also reports that Yoon's legal team says it will take legal action over the “illegal” execution of the arrest warrant by investigators against the impeached president. South Korea's anti-corruption agency has sent investigators to execute an arrest warrant for the impeached president. Meanwhile, hundreds of supporters gathered in front of Yoon's residence vowing to block them.Yoon's legal team filed an injunction with the Constitutional Court to suspend the warrant, as well as an opposition to the execution of the warrant in Seoul's Western District Court.
