Hamas releases video showing hostage Liri Albag alive

Rome, Jan 4 (LaPresse) – Hamas released a video showing signs of life in hostage Liri Albag, 19. As the Times of Israel reports, the three-and-a-half minute-long video is not dated, although Albag claims to have been detained for over 450 days, indicating that it was shot recently. Albag, a surveillance soldier stationed at Nahal Oz's post, was abducted along with six others by Hamas terrorists on 7 October. One was rescued and another was recovered dead after being murdered in captivity. The other five – Albag, Karina Ariev, Agam Berger, Naama Levy and Daniella Gilboa – are still hostages. Hamas, recalls the Times of Israel, has previously released similar videos of hostages held by the terrorist group, in what Israel calls deplorable psychological warfare.
