Milan, 8 Jan (LaPresse) – The Eaton fire, one of three fires ravaging the Los Angeles area, is forcing about 100,000 residents to evacuate the area, according to Angeles National Forest officials. CNN reports. Evacuation orders have so far been issued for 52,314 residents, while the fire threatens more than 20,000 structures. On the other hand, evacuation notices, or a notice advising people to be prepared to leave their homes, have been issued for 46,847 residents. NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which develops and coordinates many of the space agency's unmanned exploration missions, is also included in the evacuation orders following the Eaton fire. The flames also necessitated the evacuation of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Station on Altadena Drive in Altadena.
