Los Angeles, January 10 (LaPresse/AP) – The two major wildfires that have devastated the Los Angeles area have destroyed at least 10,000 homes, buildings, and other structures. Local officials confirmed the destruction, urging residents to comply with evacuation orders after a new fire broke out and spread rapidly.
So far, seven fatalities have been reported. Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley confirmed that two victims were killed in the Palisades fire. County officials also reported that the Eaton fire claimed the lives of five people.
