Rome, Jan. 11 (LaPresse) – German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has been chosen, almost unanimously, by his party, the SPD, as the candidate for chancellor in Germany's February early elections. At the party's congress in Berlin today, nearly all 596 delegates voted, by a show of hands, in favor of the leader. There were five votes against, Bild reports.
