Milan, Jan 14 (LaPresse) – ‘After the suffering that Lebanon has experienced due to Israeli aggression and the economic crisis, the time has come to start a new chapter of progress and to invest in opportunities’. This was said by the new Prime Minister of Lebanon, Nawaf Salam. The broadcaster Al Mayadeen reports. ‘The most important challenge Lebanon will face is the consequences of Israeli aggression,’ he added, stressing that ’reconstruction is not just a promise, but rather a commitment.’ ‘I am for the unity of the people,’ Salam further said, “not for exclusion”.
