Milan, Jan. 14 (LaPresse) – The FSB has prevented a terrorist attack by Ukrainian special services attempting to poison employees of a defense enterprise. A suspect, reportedly under surveillance from Ukrainian territory, has been arrested, according to the Russian FSB's Public Relations Center (PSC), as reported by the Tass news agency.
"A Russian citizen was detained after retrieving from a hideout, set up by Ukrainian special services, two containers containing hazardous chemicals capable of causing respiratory burns and potential death. These were intended to be poured into the air ducts of the specified enterprise’s employees' vehicles," the FSB reported.
"The activities were coordinated from Ukrainian territory via internet messengers, as confirmed by information found in the communication devices seized from the suspect," the FSB added.
