Rome, Jan. 16 (LaPresse) – The leader of the Venezuelan opposition, Edmundo González Urrutia, who is considered by much of the international community to be the legitimate elected president of Venezuela, is expected to arrive in the United States over the weekend and attend Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony at the White House next Monday. This was reported by El Nuevo Herald. Opposition sources stated that González also plans to meet with officials from the new administration, though any potential meeting with Trump will depend on his schedule’s availability.
