Milan, January 17 (LaPresse) – According to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the plans, cited by CNN, the inauguration ceremony for U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is expected to be held indoors due to dangerously cold temperatures forecast for Washington.
Preparations are underway for Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance to take the oath of office inside the Capitol Rotunda, according to the sources. Trump’s team is also in discussions with the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies on how to manage the tens of thousands of people who had planned to gather on the National Mall on Monday to witness Trump’s public swearing-in.
