Rome, Jan 27 (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump will not impose tariffs on Colombia after the government agreed to take in Colombians deported from the United States. This was announced by White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt in a statement. ‘The government of Colombia has agreed to all of President Trump's conditions, including the unrestricted acceptance of all illegal immigrants from Colombia repatriated from the United States, including aboard US military aircraft, without restriction or delay,’ Leavitt said in a statement. ‘Based on this agreement, the Ieepa tariffs and sanctions in their full version will be held in reserve and not signed unless Colombia complies with this agreement,’ it added.
