Rome, Jan 28 (LaPresse) – In Kinshasa, the rapid deterioration in North Kivu has created a strong wave of protests directed against the embassies of some countries. The Italian embassy was not involved. This was announced by the Farnesina, explaining that the Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani had a telephone conversation today with the Italian ambassador in Kinshasa to ascertain the condition of his compatriots present in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where there are ongoing riots in Goma, following the entry of Rwandan M23 militias, and protests and assaults on some embassies in Kinshasa.
