Rome, Jan. 30 (LaPresse) – Luisa Morgantini, 84, former Vice-President of the European Parliament and well-known Italian activist, was stopped by Israeli police in Tuba, south of Hebron, because she allegedly entered a ‘military zone’. A Sole 24ore journalist, Roberto Bongiorni, who was with her, was also detained. This is what we learn from Farnesina sources. Both were taken to the police station of the Kiryat Arba colony and are about to be released thanks to the intervention of the Italian Embassy in Tel Aviv and the Consulate in Jerusalem.
