Örebro (Sweden), Feb. 4 (LaPresse/AP) – Swedish police have reported that five people were shot at an adult education center in Sweden. The severity of their injuries has not yet been clarified.

The incident took place at an adult learning center in Örebro, about 200 kilometers west of Stockholm. Police have not disclosed whether a suspect has been arrested. Parts of the school have been evacuated, and people have taken shelter in nearby buildings.

"The reports of violence in Örebro are very serious. The police are on-site, and the operation is in full progress. The government is in close contact with law enforcement and is closely monitoring developments," said Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer to the Swedish news agency TT.

Authorities have stated that the threat is not over and have urged the public to stay away from the school. The extent of the victims' injuries remains unclear.
