Milan, Feb 5 (LaPresse) – "As for our losses, the exact figures are very important to us. 45,100 people have been killed, and about 390,000 have been wounded," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan.
"The number of wounded is actually lower because some people have been injured, returned to the battlefield, and then were wounded again," Zelensky clarified.
Regarding Russian casualties, the Ukrainian president stated that "they have about 600,000 to 700,000 wounded because their field medicine is weaker than ours, and they do not evacuate their wounded. If someone is injured on the battlefield, they stay there. So these estimates are approximate, but they very clearly correspond to reality."
