Milan, February 13 (LaPresse) – Anonymous Palestinian sources told the Saudi news outlet Al Sharq that progress has been made in indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas regarding the fragile ceasefire agreement and the release of hostages.
A source told the newspaper that mediators "held intense discussions and secured a preliminary commitment from Israel to implement the provisions of the humanitarian protocol starting Thursday morning."
The source added that the Palestinians are "waiting for confirmation from the mediators" regarding the entry of trailers, tents, fuel, heavy machinery, medicines, and materials for hospital reconstruction into the Strip.
"Hamas is waiting to see implementation on the ground," the source stated.
