Turin, 15 Feb (LaPresse) – European Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic will travel to Washington next week for high-level meetings against the backdrop of the potential trade challenge that Europe is preparing to face against the US over the tariff issue. Three officials confirmed this to Politico. Sefcovic is expected to see senior members of Donald Trump's administration, including Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, meetings not yet confirmed, and Kevin Hassett, Trump's top economic adviser. Sefcovic's trip was confirmed by a European Commission spokesperson.
