Milan, 21 Feb (LaPresse) – Hamas has officially announced that tomorrow it will release the hostages Tal Shoham, Omer Shem-Tov, Eliya Cohen, Omer Wenkert, Avera Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed. According to previous statements, the six were the last to be repatriated during the first phase and are still alive. The families of the six had already been notified by the Israeli authorities on Tuesday. Al-Sayed and Mengistu have been prisoners in Gaza for over a decade, having entered the Strip of their own free will. The others were kidnapped on 7 October 2023. The Times of Israel reported this.
