Brussels, 27 Feb. (LaPresse) – ‘I have invited President Zelenskyy to come to Brussels on the occasion of the European Council meeting to discuss the latest developments with us’. This was written by the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, in his letter to the EU heads of state and government inviting them to the special European Council meeting on 6 March in Brussels. ‘We will start our meeting at 12:30 with our traditional exchange of views with the President of the European Parliament, followed by a discussion with President Zelensky during lunch. We will then focus on European Defence, followed by a discussion on Ukraine,’ Costa said.
