Washington (USA), Feb 28 (LaPresse) – ‘I am in the middle. I'm both for Ukraine and Russia’. So said Donald Trump speaking about his role in the peace negotiations, in the Oval Office of the White House, before the face-to-face meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. ‘I want to resolve this issue,’ added the US president, who explained: the US will send more weapons to Ukraine, but ’I hope we won't have to send a lot, because I'm looking forward to a quick end.’
