(LaPresse) – ‘Europe is a weak and cranky old woman who desperately needs the protection of the United States’ so European leaders ‘will make trouble, stand out with identical posts on social networks but then return to the fold’. So says Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev, responding to a question from the Russian news agency Ria Novosti about the support expressed by several European leaders for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky following his verbal clash with US President Donald Trump yesterday at the White House.
