Milan, March 1 (LaPresse) – U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should apologize after his meeting with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office turned into a clash, questioning whether the Ukrainian leader truly wants peace in his country's war with Russia. In an exclusive interview with CNN, Rubio called on Zelensky to "apologize for turning this thing into what it became," after his meeting at the White House with Trump and Vice President JD Vance turned into a confrontation. "When you start talking about it aggressively – and President Trump is a negotiator who has made deals throughout his life – you won't get people to the table. You start to get the sense that maybe Zelensky doesn’t want a peace deal. He says yes, but maybe no," Rubio concluded.
