Turin, 4 Mar. (LaPresse) – The declaration of the Arab League summit held in Cairo to discuss the reconstruction of Gaza did not address the reality of the situation following the massacre perpetrated by Hamas on 7 October 2023. This was stated by the Israeli Foreign Ministry. ‘It is noteworthy that the vicious terrorist attack by Hamas is not mentioned and that there is not even a condemnation of this murderous terrorist entity, despite the documented atrocities,’ the ministry said, quoted by Times of Israel, praising instead US President Donald Trump's plan to relocate Gaza citizens and arguing – despite Trump talking about relocating the entire population of the Strip – that based on this, ’there is an opportunity for the citizens of Gaza to choose freely. This must be encouraged'.
