Ukraine: Moscow, temporary ceasefire is unacceptable

Milan, 6 March (LaPresse) – Russia considers a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine to be ‘absolutely unacceptable’. This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova. ‘Precise agreements on a final settlement are needed. Without this, any room for ‘breathing space’ or ‘regrouping’ is absolutely unacceptable, as it will lead to exactly the opposite result,’ Zakharova said. The spokeswoman stressed that the UK and France had not presented their ‘peace plan’ to Russia, ‘this plan has not been officially handed over to anyone. We only know about it from the media'.
