Turin, 6 Mar (LaPresse) – US and Ukrainian officials are in talks to organise a meeting next week in Saudi Arabia, with the aim of defining the framework for a ceasefire with Russia and a peace agreement. President Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff confirmed this to reporters. ‘We are in discussions to coordinate a meeting with the Ukrainians in Riyadh or potentially even Jeddah,’ Witkoff said, quoted by US media. ‘I think the idea is to establish a framework for a peace agreement and also an initial ceasefire,’ he added.
