Milan, 9 Mar. (LaPresse) – ‘The United States is an ally’ but ‘this does not mean that the model we have had for the past 25 or 30 years, if not more, is still the right one, that is, that most of the responsibility for defence lies with the United States and not with all the other allies. We have to do our homework. We have to fulfil our responsibilities, we have to take them on our shoulders'. So says the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, during the press conference for the 100th day of her new term.
