Kyiv, Mar. 11 (LaPresse) – "Ukraine accepts" the U.S. proposal for a full 30-day ceasefire in the Black Sea and along the entire front line, "we consider it positive and are ready to take such a step." This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky following a meeting between senior U.S. and Ukrainian officials in Jeddah. "Ukraine is ready for peace. Russia must also show its willingness to stop the war or continue it. The time for full truth has come," he explained. "The American side understands our arguments, accepts our proposals. I want to thank President Trump for the constructiveness of the conversation between our teams. The United States must now convince Russia to accept the truce proposal," Zelensky added.
