Washington, March 17 (LaPresse) – U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Sunday that he has "no intention" of easing tariffs on steel and aluminum, as Washington approaches a potential total trade war with major partners. Since January, Trump has imposed tariffs on several trading partners and imports, including steel and aluminum, shaking financial markets and fueling concerns that his plans could push the world's largest economy into a recession. The American president told reporters aboard Air Force One that he had no intention of making exceptions to the tariffs, saying: "No, I don't intend to."
