The Europeans will protect themselves by responding, and the objective of a response on the tariff level would be to find an agreement and then dismantle the entire article, but in the end all this is a waste of time and will create many concerns in many sectors’. This was stated by the French President, Emmanuel Macron, at the press conference at the end of the summit on peace and security for Ukraine in Paris. ‘We will also make sure that we work very closely with the European Commission to support all the economic sectors that will be affected and addressed.
