Madrid (Spain), 28 Mar. (LaPresse) – ‘I believe that always, even in a deteriorated situation’ and even in ‘a war conflict’, ‘there is room for discussion, dialogue and finding a solution’, but here ‘the problem we are facing is that of a kind of behaviour of the bully boy in the school playground’ who says: ‘I don't realise what my problem is, I just attack directly, and clearly Europe can't stand by and do nothing in the face of such aggression’. This was said by Teresa Ribera, the European Commission's Executive Vice-President for a Clean, Fair and Competitive Transition, in response to the question of whether there is still room to reach an agreement with the USA that avoids the entry into force of the tariffs announced by President Donald Trump.
