Turin, 28th March (LaPresse) – ‘Turkey is ready to provide all kinds of support, including hosting peace negotiations, to ensure an honourable and lasting peace’ in Ukraine. This is what Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported by the Anadolu agency. During the conversation, Erdogan emphasised that ‘cooperation between Turkey and Russia is of fundamental importance for resolving regional issues’ and that Ankara ‘is closely following the process initiated to end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine’.
