Milan, March 30 (LaPresse) – The Italian-Thai company Italian-Thai Development Plc is also involved in the construction of the Bangkok skyscraper that collapsed during Friday's earthquake. The company was in a joint venture with China Railway No.10 Engineering Group, operating under the state-owned China Railway Engineering Corporation (CREC), one of the largest engineering and construction companies in the world. This was reported by the Bangkok Post, which also mentions that all of the company's posts regarding the building have been deleted, despite the structure's skeleton being completed on March 31 of last year. Italian-Thai Development Plc was founded in 1958 as 'Sviluppo Italo-Thailandese' by Chaijudh Karnasuta and Giorgio Berlingieri. It has been listed on the Thailand Stock Exchange since 1994. An investigation has been launched into the construction of the building and its collapse.
