Rome, April 1 (LaPresse) – ‘Taiwan independence means war and pursuing it will push the Taiwanese people into a dangerous conflict situation’. This was stated by Zhu Fenglian spokesman for the Taiwan Affairs Office of China. Zhu said the latest Chinese military manoeuvres around the island are a ‘stern warning’ to the island administration's ‘rampant independence provocations’. ‘Mainland China's will to resolve the Taiwan issue and achieve national reunification is rock solid and its capacity is indestructible. We will never allow anyone or any force to separate Taiwan from China, nor will we leave room for any form of secessionist activity,’ he concluded.
