Tariffs, Taiwan President: "No plans for retaliation against Trump's measures"

Taipei, April 7 (LaPresse) – In response to the United States' "reciprocal tariffs," Taiwan President Lai Ching-te stated on Sunday that there are no plans for tariff retaliation and that negotiations will proceed to improve reciprocal tariffs. A negotiation team has been formed, and discussions on tariffs could begin with "zero tariffs" based on the comparison with the USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement).
