Milan, 8 Apr. (LaPresse) – Moscow supports the negotiations between the United States and Iran on the nuclear programme and is in favour of a diplomatic solution. This was stated by the Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov. This was reported by the Russian press agency Ria Novosti. When asked if Russia supported the talks, to be held on Saturday in Oman, Peskov replied: ‘Of course, because we have repeatedly said that we are in favour of resolving the Iranian nuclear issue through political and diplomatic means. If this is the case, we can only welcome it’, he said.
