Washington, April 14 (LaPresse) – U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he will impose new tariffs on semiconductors next week, adding that flexibility will be granted to certain companies in the sector. The announcement came during a trip with journalists aboard Air Force One on the return journey to Washington from his residence in West Palm Beach. "We wanted to simplify the situation for many other companies because we want to produce our chips, semiconductors, and other products in our country," he added.
