Rome, April 14 (LaPresse) – Kevin Hassett, Director of the United States National Economic Council, said in an interview with Fox Business that he "does not expect a recession 100%" this year, adding that President Donald Trump's administration is making "tremendous progress" in trade negotiations with the European Union. Hassett also dismissed accusations of insider trading within the White House, following controversy surrounding Trump’s statements ahead of the announcement of the 90-day pause on mutual tariffs.
