According to Al Masirah TV, affiliated with the Houthis, cited by Al Jazeera, this is one of the deadliest raids ever carried out by US forces against the country. The US Central Command (Centcom) said the attacks were aimed at cutting off funding and resources to the Houthis. ‘The objective of these strikes was to degrade the Houthis’ economic power source, which they continue to exploit and cause severe suffering to their fellow countrymen,’ Centcom said in a social media post.
