Milan, April 19 (LaPresse) – “If the full ceasefire” announced by Vladimir Putin “is truly to take effect, Ukraine proposes to extend it beyond Easter Day, April 20. This is what will reveal Russia’s true intentions, because 30 hours are enough to make headlines, but not enough to take concrete steps to build trust. Thirty days could give peace a real chance.” So wrote Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a post on X, following the surprise announcement by the Russian president of a 30-hour Easter truce.
