Rome, April 26 (LaPresse) – Russian troops have liberated the Kursk region, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov reported, according to RIA Novosti.
"The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, reported to Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin on the completion of the operation to liberate the Kursk region from Ukrainian neo-Nazis," said Peskov.
"The adventure of the Kyiv regime has completely failed," stated Russian President Vladimir Putin, commenting on Gerasimov's report on the liberation of Kursk.
Putin added that the "enormous losses suffered by the enemy," including among "the most combat-ready, trained and Western-equipped units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, will certainly impact the entire frontline."
