Rome, April 28 (LaPresse) – The causes of the blackout that affected Spain "are still under investigation. It is better not to speculate," said Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, speaking from La Moncloa. Sánchez urged the population to follow three recommendations: minimize travel, rely only on official information, and avoid spreading information of "dubious origin." "Our hospital system is functioning perfectly and has long-standing autonomy," Sánchez explained, adding that "a home service is being provided for people with special needs." As for transport, "port and air traffic are not affected," while "rail traffic is suspended for safety reasons." Finally, many ATMs "have been impacted," but "banking and electronic payment systems continue to operate normally."
