Milan, 30 Apr (LaPresse) – Donald Trump attacked former US President Joe Biden after the US economy contracted by 0.3% in the first quarter of 2025. ‘This is Biden's stock market, not Trump's. I only assumed the presidency on 20 January. Soon the tariffs will go into effect and companies are starting to move to the US in record numbers. Our country will experience a boom, but we need to get rid of Biden's legacy. It will take some time,’ Trump wrote in a post on his Truth social. ‘It has nothing to do with tariffs,’ he continued, writing in all caps. ‘Just that it left us with bad data, but when the boom starts, it will be like never before. Be patient!’ he concluded.
