Milan, May 4 (LaPresse) – The President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, will pay an official visit to Russia from May 7 to 10 at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin and will participate in the official celebrations for the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This was reported by the Kremlin. “The bilateral talks to be held during the visit will focus on fundamental aspects of further advancing the global partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China, as well as pressing issues on the international and regional agenda. In addition, the two leaders will sign a number of bilateral intergovernmental and interministerial documents,” reads the statement released for the announcement.
