Paris, May 7th (LaPresse) – French President Emmanuel Macron has urged the United States to "hurry to lift sanctions" against Syria, "with the necessary conditions," and to "maintain" military operations against the Islamic State in the country. The announcement came during a joint press conference in Paris with the interim Syrian President, Ahmed al-Sharaa.
